Walk-in Crisis Center: If you are experiencing a mental health or substance-use crisis, no matter what that means to you, RHA is here for you. We serve everyone – those who have insurance and importantly those without insurance, as well as first responders such as law enforcement, schools, probation, DSS and emergency services. There is an officer on site to allow for law enforcement drop offs with quick transfer and acceptance of IVC (involuntary) paperwork. The Walk-in Crisis Center provides an alternative to the use of the emergency room for behavioral health services and is a safety net for mental health care.
Outpatient Therapy: The High Point office provides same day access for clinical assessments (CCAs) for the Guilford County community (and beyond) seeking mental health support through group or individual therapy and personalized treatment plans. We serve individuals of all ages, with or without insurance, at various stages of recovery, offering accessible, compassionate care to enhance their mental health, stability, and quality of life. The CCA provides treatment recommendations and a plan to address identified concerns.
Peer Support Services (PSS): PSS services provide initial engagement that can lead to further mental health treatment. This service empowers individuals to take active steps toward personal growth and stability. Our certified PSS specialists provide guidance, mentorship, and encouragement based on lived experience, helping individuals build resilience and connect with their recovery goals.
Nurses/Injection Clinic: The injection clinic offers medication support and injections to individuals with Medicaid or no insurance, prioritizing those transitioning from hospitals or correctional facilities to prevent lapses in medication management. Nurses coordinate care in partnership with primary care providers. Nurses deliver personalized support, reaching out if appointments are missed to ensure continuity. Medication management is tailored for specialty populations, addressing unique needs to support effective and consistent treatment. This model results in a reduction of missed appointments and gaps in treatment.
Employment Services (IPS-SE): RHA career coaches provide one-on-one support to help individuals gain and retain employment aligned with their interests, skills and abilities. Work plays a central role in recovery, and this service helps individuals take important steps towards working independently in the career of their choice.
Community Support Team (CST): provides treatment and help to enhance quality of life through improving coping skills, social supports, symptom/medication management, employment assistance, and reducing occurrence of crisis situations like hospitalization or incarceration.
Intensive In-Home (IIH): services are interventions for youth who are at risk of being placed in a treatment center or foster care due to serious behavioral health challenges. IIH services help to prevent these out-of-home placements by providing intensive case management/monitoring therapy and family counseling.
